Pluto: Transformation takes the collection into its most intense stage.

Rich rust, copper, black and ember-like tones move towards and away from a compressed centre, creating an image suggestive of matter being drawn inward before emerging in another form.

Pluto represents transformation at its deepest level. It asks what remains when the unnecessary has fallen away and what can emerge when something has completed its previous form.

The work is intentionally visceral. Transformation is presented not as decoration or surface change, but as a process that alters the structure of what existed before.

What falls away makes space for what is ready to become.

Medium & Materials: Acrylic paint, heavy texture medium and satin varnish on handcrafted House of Astrea Wales gallery-wrapped cotton canvas.

Presented in its own handcrafted solid-oak floating frame, individually made to complement the artwork and included as part of the original purchase.
