A solitary wing rises through a dramatic division of darkness and gold, suggesting movement across boundaries and the point at which apparently separate journeys begin to meet.

Natural sand gathered from Machynys Beach, Carmarthenshire is incorporated into the textured surface alongside acrylic paint, heavy texture medium and crushed glass, connecting the physical landscape of Wales with the symbolic language of flight.

Finished with satin varnish, Convergence considers transformation not as a single moment, but as the accumulation of everything that has brought us to a particular point.
